ZKProof Research Center is a non-profit research institution that develops foundational technologies for zero-knowledge proofs and explores the application of this technology in blockchain. Simultaneously, it aims to promote awareness and beneficial use of zero-knowledge proof technology among academia, industry, and the general public.

Zero-knowledge proof technology is expected to have broad applications in areas such as performance scalability enhancement, privacy problem resolution, interoperability problem resolution, and data ownership proof within blockchain.

zkVoting is the first public blockchain voting system to utilize zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) and satisfy the following properties: end-to-end verifiability, privacy, and integrity. Current blockchain voting systems struggle to overcome the technical challenges of utilizing public blockchain and are forced to remain on a private blockchain. Moreover, there have yet to be successful adoptions of ZKP technology in a voting system. zkVoting has successfully developed a voting system that supports secret voting on a public blockchain with ZKP technology. The highly optimized ZKP guarantees legitimate information without revealing voter identification and the ballot's content.

zkVoting poll station is the first in-person blockchain-powered voting system. Recognised with the Best of Innovation award at CES 2024, zkVoting introduces seamless on-site voting support. Voters can now verify the accurate casting of their ballots in real-time at the poll station. Our zero-knowledge proof protocol enables anyone to verify vote validity while upholding voter privacy. We separate the voting and vote validation devices to prevent malware, resolve appliance suspicion, and foster process credibility. zkVoting empowers citizens to confidently engage in both online or in-person voting, ensuring transparency security, and advancing democracy.
Azeroth

Azeroth is the world's first Crypto & NFT Wallet app that supports anonymity and auditing on a public blockchain. Our privacy-preserving solution distinguishes us from present anonymous transaction services in achieving confidentiality and satisfying AML (anti-money laundry regulations). Azeroth utilizes zk-SNARK technology (Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Arguments of Knowledge) to validate public and anonymous transactions with privacy. Furthermore, Azeroth is exercised on a mobile application to satisfy user accessibility and convenience. Lightscale is building Kroma, a universal Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) platform that utilizes ZK Proof technology. Kroma started as an Optimistic Rollups with ZK Fault Proofs and will subsequently evolve to be an EVM-equivalent ZK Rollup. We strive to compose Pragmatic, Adaptive, and User-Friendly L2 solutions for the Ethereum ecosystem. As the name suggests, Kroma provides the full spectrum of scaled Ethereum to our customers, creators, and developers.

Kroma aims to develop a universal ZK Rollup based on the Optimism Bedrock architecture. Currently, Kroma operates as an Optimistic Rollup with ZK fault proofs, utilizing a zkEVM based on Scroll. The goal of Kroma is to eventually transition to a ZK Rollup once the generation of ZK proofs becomes more cost-efficient and faster.
